luckett's store

800 miles and a couple of weeks later....we are in Luckett's Virginia.

Their Spring Market starts tomorrow morning and we have a long way to go. If you have never participated in one of these antique shows, I just want you to know that they are HARD work!
You spend weeks building and buying followed by packing and packing and packing. We drove over 800 miles in one day to get to this show.

Once you find your "spot", you have to unpack all of those goodies that you so lovingly packed up.

We spent all day unpacking and still didn't get close to finishing. We will have to get up at the crack of dawn in order to be ready by 10.

Tomorrow will be filled with crab cakes and funnel cakes for lunch, but today was Fritos and pretzels. We were pooped by the time it came time to find our hotel. We were tired but Lindsey and I took a little walk around the fields before we left this afternoon. Enjoy a sneak peek.

I think I used to own these cowboy boots.

We actually have our own little Serro Scotty trailer just like this one! Maybe this will inspire me to get it all fancied up.

I love these pillowcases hanging in the window. Love, love ruffles!
These chairs are fancy shmancy and just yummy!

The Old Luckett's Store in Lucketts Virginia. Spring Market is Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5. Come see us if you are in the area.

  1. Wow! That's a lot of driving for one day and a lot of unpacking for another day! They don't give you much time to set up do they? Good luck! Hope you guys sell everything!
